Marie "Mary" Falgout Arabie, 90, a native of Raceland and resident of Mathews died at 6:45 p.m., Wednesday, December 28, 2016.
Visitation will be held at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church on Monday, January 2, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her three daughters, Judy Trosclair, JoAnn Chiasson, and Patsy "Pat" Duet; 9 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold P. Arabie, Sr.; son, Harold P. "Frog" Arabie, Jr.; parents, Pierre Falgout and Lucille Chauvin Falgout; 2 sisters, and 3 brothers.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to St. Joseph Hospice, 103 Ridgefield Road, Thibodaux, LA 70301
