Maria S. Bermudez, 67, a native of Brownsville, TX and resident of Cut Off, LA passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2020.
A visitation will be held at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off on Thursday, November 19, 2020 from 11:00 am until service time. Funeral Service will begin in the funeral parlor at 12 noon with cremation following and burial following in Sacred Heart Cemetery at a later date.
Mrs. Maria is survived by her children; Esther Galvan Cardenas, Ofelia Bermudez, Aermina Bermudez Gaspard (Chance), Janet Berumudez Valenzuela, Tony Bermudez (fiancé Amy Brunet), Joshua Dedon (fiancé Leigh Cheramie), and Jacob Dedon, 14 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, brothers; Juan Bermudez, and Benjamin Bermudez, Jr., and sisters; Rosalinda Landry, and Maria Correa.
Mrs. Bermudez was preceded in death by her parents; Benjamin Bermudez Sr. and Ophelia Limon , 3 grandchildren, and sister Flora Serigny.
