Maarah Bowen Marks, 71, a native of Birmingham, AL and resident of Cut Off passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2018.
Memorial Service will be held at South Lafourche Baptist Church on Thursday, December 27th at 11:00 a.m.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, John W. Marks, Sr.; son, John W. Marks, II (Jordan); daughter, Jauna Williams (Mike); brother, Ray Bowen; sister, Phyllis Ratliff; grandchildren, Laura, Tyler, Maggie, Sarah and Benjamin; great-granddaughter, Brooklyn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gurley and Eddie Mae Patterson Bowen; daughter, Buffy Marks; sister, Gwen Bowen; brother-in-law, Bill Ratliff.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
