Louella M. Duet, 82, a native and resident of Cut Off passed away at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 17, 2014.
Visitation will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Friday, September 19, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her sister, Flora Mae Duet.
She was preceded in death by her father, Xavier Duet; mother, Pamela Curole Duet; half brothers, Clophaus Duet, Linton Duet, Sr..
Louella was a first grade teacher at Cut Off Elementary School for 27 years. During her tenure there, many young minds were nurtured as they began their education.
She was an avid L.S.U. fan and rode the Greyhound Bus to the games as long as it ran. Watched every L.S.U. event on TV!
