Lorraine Martin Pierce

Lorraine Martin Pierce, 89, a native of Raceland, La. and resident of Larose, La. passed away on October 6, 2023 with her loving family near her side.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 10 ,2023 from 9:00am until service time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am at Holy Rosary with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Lorraine is survived by her children, Steve (Roxanne) Pierce, Anita P. Dozar and Mark (Jody) Pierce; grandchildren, Tobi, Jenny (Robert), Phillip, Amanda (Chris), Ryan (Kim), Julia, and Mason; 8 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren, brother, Michael Martin; sister, Pam Falgout.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband Irving Pierce; son, Phillip Paul Pierce; parents Lawrence P. and Irene Melancon Martin; brothers, Norris Martin and Lawrence, Martin, Jr.; sister, Betty Loupe; son-in-law, Rocky Dozar.
Lorraine was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Lafourche Parish Council on Aging, and Manager of the Larose Senior Citizens, she was also a volunteer at the Larose Civic Center and The Broadway Nursing Center.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Holy Rosary Catholic School or the Larose Civic Center.
