Lorecia Pauline Duet, 91, a native of Point-aux-Chene and resident of Galliano passed away on Monday, November 12, 2012.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday at Samart-Mothe Funeral Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday at Christian Family Center from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. Funeral services will be held at the church at 11:00 a.m. with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter, Mabel Cheramie and husband Nolta, Jr.; brothers, Raymond Naquin, Emery Naquin; sisters, Necia Duet, Eula Mae Egly, Elda Alida Roundtree; grandchildren; Leslie Crosby and husband Phil, Yvette Bruce and husband Wade, Lynette Pierce and husband Rouddy; great-grandchildren, Phil Crosby, Jr., Amy Bruce, Jordie Pierce, Trent Pierce.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nolan Duet; parents, Jean and Emelie Naquin; brothers, Usey Naquin, Henry Naquin; sisters, Lena Gawlik, Alcidie Battaglia, Enolia Vito, Lucia Guidry, Ella Naquin, Enid Chauvin, Cecile Levron.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
