Lonies Mayuex

Lonies Anthony Mayeux Sr, 96, a native of Marksville and resident of Chalmette, LA for 60 years and Cut Off, LA for 7 years passed away Sunday May 5, 2013. Mr. Mayeux was cremeated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
He is survived by his wife of 73 years Ruth S. Mayeux, sons Lonies Mayeux Jr and wife Rose, Rodney Mayeux and companion Yvonne, and Jerry Mayeux and wife Judy, brother LeeRoy Mayeux, 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, and family friend Diane Daboval.
He was preceded in death by his parents Mr. Edmond Mayeux and Ella Normand, sisters Carrie Born and Lucille Cole.
He was a Navy WWII veteran.
