Lois "Honey" Gautreaux

Lois, "Honey," Gautreaux, 78, a native of New Orleans and longtime resident of South Lafourche passed away on June 3, 2017. Visitation will take place at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off on June 9, 2017 from 10 am until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will begin at 12 noon with burial following in Cheramie Cemetery. She leaves her deeply loved sons, Grant G. Gautreaux and Gwayne A. Gautreaux, Grant's companion Michael J. Malinowski and her daughter-in-law Marinel R. Gautreaux, her granddaughters Alexa N. Gautreaux, Khyle Redillas, her grandsons Gwayne, Jr. and Brendon Gautreaux, and her great granddaughter Kamryn R. Gautreaux. Family was Honey's life, which was enriched immensely by her brother John Lerille and sister-in-law Odette, her brother Rodney and sister-in-law Joan, her brother William and Sister-in-Law Linda, and her nieces and nephews, all of whom survive her. She was the daughter of the late Bella Pitre Lerille, and Nelson Lerille, who lived in her heart throughout her life....
