Lionel "Quittem" Matherne, 51, a native and resident of Raceland, passed away on Friday, August 18, 2017.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm on Friday, August 25, 2017 at St. Mary Catholic Church. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 pm Friday with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his sons, Rance and Dylon Matherne; daughter, Mandi Matherne Arabie; mother and step father, Janet Matherne-Robicheaux and Robert Robicheaux; 4 grandchildren, Abigail, Karsyn, Brooklyn and Sebastian and brothers, Mike and Rene' Matherne.
He was preceded in death by his father, Evans Matherne.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
