Linton A. Soley, 68, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Galliano, passed away August 30, 2013. Visitation will take place at Samart-Mothe Funeral Homes on Monday September 2, 2013 from 5pm till 9pm and on Tuesday September 3, 2013 from 8am till funeral time. Funeral Mass will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano at 11am with burial following at Cheramie Cemetery.
Mr. Soley is survived by his wife Elaine L. Soley, sons Linton Soley Jr, Brant Soley, Byron Soley, and Joshua Gisclair, daughter Theresa Leblanc, 5 step grandchildren, brother Harry Soley, sisters Rosie Verdin, Inez Matherne, Anna Mae Demet, 17 grandchildren, 11 step grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Leanis and Odelia Soley, sons Billy Soley and Delane Soley, brother Vinis Soley, sisters Rose Jane Soley, Pearl Miller and Antoinette Soley, and 2 great grandsons.
