Linda Stevens Stringer

Linda S. Stringer, 67, a native of St. Petersburg, Fl and resident of Chackbay, LA passed away on Monday, March 29, 2021.

Visitation was held at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Mathews on Thursday, April 1st from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. Funeral Services were held in the funeral home with burial following in Resurrection Memorial Park.

Linda is survived by her husband, Bobby J. Stringer; father, Melvin “Red” Stevens (Elsie); beloved sons, Jeremy Dufrene, Marty Dufrene, Jr. and Jason Dufrene (Emerald); daughter, Rochelle Stringer; siblings, Sue Lirette (Alvin Davis), Jerry Nunes (Wanda), Roxanne Falgout (Joey), Tammy Boudreaux (Farrel), Craig Stevens, Mark Stevens (Sue); and her joys: grandchildren, Alexis, Miyanna, Marlie, Charlie, Willow, Bobbie Grace and Taysom.

Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Reynolds.
