Leopold J. Borne, 67, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Galliano passed away December 18, 2013. Visitation will take place on December 20, 2013 at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut off from 5:00 pm till 9:00 pm and on December 21, 2013 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church from 9:00 am till funeral time. Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 am with burial following in Cheramie Cemetery.
Mr Borne is survived by his children Allen Borne, Melanie Borne and companion Todd LeBlanc and Dion Cheramie, grandchildren Myles LeBlanc, Austin Champagne, Hunter Champagne, Noah Cheramie, Blayze Pitre, Emma Pitre, and Rebecca LeBlanc, sisters Pearline Vizier and Julie Galliano and his ex-wife Darlene Adams.
He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia "Patsy" Borne, parents Faustin E. Borne and Mercedes Callais Borne, brothers Anthinas Borne, Faustin Borne Jr, and Paul Borne, and sisters Evelia Langly, Gerline Guidry, Gertie Bruce and Betty Bruce.
