Leona “Yon” Frazier, 88, a native and resident of Des Allemands passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2019.
Funeral services will be held at a later date.
She is survived by her son, William “Bill” Frazier, Jr.; daughter, Stacia Frazier (Jimmy) Becnel; brother, Rodney Cortez; grandchildren, Jennifer (Jason) Burchett and Celeste (Kerwin) Matherne; great-grandchildren, Keegan, Croix and Khye Matherne and Wyatt Burchett.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Frazier, Sr.; parents, Marcellus and Lucia Cortez; brothers, Albert “Dash” Cortez, Edward “Pedro” Cortez, Elsa “Red” Cortez, Marcellus “T-Beb” Cortez, Jr., Fred Cortez, Wilmer Cortez and John Cortez; sisters, Carrie Ayo, Bertha Matherne, Julia Bischop , Ethel Horn and Margie St. Amant.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
