Lenore Atchley

Lenore "Eleanor" J. Atchley, 72, a native of Cut Off and resident of Amelia, died Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with burial in Our Lady of the Rosary Cemetery in Larose.
She is survived by her husband of nine and a half years, James Atchley; sons, Phillip (Tina) Jelks and Jamie (Erica) Jelks;; daughter, Paula J. (Lloyd) Lovergne; three step-children, brother, Philocles Nacio; sisters, Joan DeShazo and Amy Billiot; 16 grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 11 step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles B. Jelks; parents, Baptiste Nacio and Feda Verdin Nacio; son, Elroy Jelks; daughters, Janice J. Cressionie and JoAnn J. Kern; brothers, John, Norman and Anthony Nacio; and sisters, Antionette Carnes and Marie Boudreaux and 2 step grandchildren.
