Lee Plaisance
Lee J. Plaisance, a native and resident of Valentine, was born on Oct. 21, 1942, and died on Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time at 12 p.m. on Thursday at Our Lady of the Rosary. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 p.m. followed by a burial at the church.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years Audrey Danos Plaisance; children, Kim Plaisance Trosclair and husband Randy Trosclair, Tal Plaisance, Robbie Plaisance and wife Kristen Cole Plaisance; grandchildren, Blaine Plaisance, Chelsy Plaisance, Chandler Plaisance, Austin Trosclair; step-grandchildren, Cherish Kwiecinski and Dakota Kwiecinski; brother-in-law, Robert "Bob" Guidry; sister, Geraldine Plaisance Chiasson and husband Herbert.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee Plaisance and Anna Breaux Plaisance; brothers, Roland Plaisance; sisters, Wilma Plaisance Guidry, Norah Plaisance Ledet and husband Norris.
Mr Plaisance loved to travel the world with his wife, he loved dancing and was a loving husband. The most important thing in his life was his family and friends and he enjoyed spending time with them. Mr Lee's on goal in life was to make his wife happy and to be there for his children.
