Joyce Ordoyne Folse, 75 a native and resident of St. Charles Community, passed away on Tuesday September 25, 2012.
Visitation will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church on Monday from 9:00 a.m. to funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will commence at 11:00 a.m. with a burial in St. Mary's Cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Corial Peter Folse, Jr. and wife Trudy; daughters, Carleen Folse Braud and husband Todd, Joy Folse Derouen and husband Larry, Sr., Theresa Folse Pontiff and husband Michael, Sr.; brothers, Albert Ordoyne, Alvin Ordoyne, Calvin Ordoyne, Felix Ordoyne, Arthur Ordoyne, Malvin Ordoyne; sisters, Lois Porche, Mary Cavalier; grandchildren, Michael Pontiff, Jr., Dawn Billiot, Amy Pontiff, Larry Derouen, Jr., Brent Derouen, Brandy Braud, Jacob Braud, Matthew Folse, Shelbi Folse; great-grandchildren, Allie Pontiff, Kale Dardar, Isaac Derouen, Colton Braud, Nathan Folse, Alec Dardar, Addison Billiot, Liam Derouen; step-great-grandchildren, Isabella Trosclair, McKayla Breaux, Cole Billiot.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Corial Peter Folse, Sr.; parents, Noray, Sr. and Agnes Rodrigue Ordoyne; brother, Noray Ordoyne, Jr.; granddaughter, Hayli Folse.
Joyce was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and mother-in-law. She loves to sew, read and go fishing. She also loved to go camping and helping out friends and family. She worked at John Deere and during the tax season worked for one of her uncles. She worked side by side with her husband Corial to build their house. She will be missed by all.
We would like to thank the nurses and staff of Thibodaux Regional Medical Center. The home health nurses of Thibodaux Regional Medical Center, Johnna, Cindy and Jane.
