Josephine Bruce Gisclair, 78, a native and resident of Golden Meadow passed away on Monday, March 8, 2021.
Visitation will be held at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off on Thursday, March 11th from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in the Cheramie Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughters, Terry Sue Lockhart and Shelia Rousse (Drew Daigle); grandchildren, Natasha Rousse (Sherod), Tarah Rousse (Scott Moran), Tyrah Landry (Kevin) and LeeAnna Lockhart; great-grandchildren, DeLea Rousse (Robert Milligan), Trinity Bergeron (Gage), Kimberly Rousse (Garrett Nelson), Sherod Rousse, Jr., Collin Landry, Scott Moran, Jr., Aubree Landry and Blakey Lockhart; great-great-grandchildren, Emmy and Marci; son-in-law, Randy Lockhart; brother, Perry Bruce; sisters, Anna Billiot and Jane Bruce.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Loydman J. Gisclair; parents, Freddie and Eva Bruce; brother, Freddie “Junior” Bruce; sister, Nora Gisclair; son-in-law, Tracy Rousse.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
