Joseph Boyd “Coon” Billiot, Sr., 81, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Galliano passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2018.

Coon is survived by his companion, Florena A. Billiot; children, Florence “Jackie” Billiot, Cheryl McWilliams, Joseph Boyd Billiot, Jr., Eli Paul Billiot, Christopher John Billiot and Faron Anthony Billiot; brothers, Horace Billiot and Roy Billiot; Marguerite Billiot, Vivian Billiot, Rita Descant and Emily Billiot; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Coon was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Agatha Billiot; brother, Lawrence Billiot; sister, Amelia Sanchez.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
