Joey James Fullilove, 47, a native and resident of Larose passed away on Friday, October 18, 2013.
Visitation will be held at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Allison Blanchard Fullilove; daughter, Kayla Fullilove; son, Josh Fullilove; brother, Timmy Fullilove and wife Amy; mother, Bryska Fullilove Benoit; grandparents, Clyde and Joyce Fullilove, Emma Barrios; unborn granddaughter, Jemma; numerous nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde "Chumpy" Fullilove; grandfather, Jimmy Barrios; uncle Billy Barrios.
Joey was head of Radiology Dept. at Lady of the Sea General Hospital for 15 years before establishing his own successful business, Complete Occupational Health Services.
The family would like to thank Dr. Jody Plaisance and the numerous doctors and nurses at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center. We would like to thank the many friends and family members who supported us tirelessly throughout this trying time.
Joey devoted most of his life to his family and the success of his business. He was a dedicated father, a spirited coach, loved feeding people and was looking forward to being a grandfather for the first time.
