Jenice "Ma Ma" Cheramie

Jenice "Ma Ma" L. Cheramie, 77, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Larose passed away July 6, 2015. Visitation will take place at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose on July 8, 2015 from 10:00 am till service time. Funeral Mass will begin at 12 noon with burial following in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Jenice is survived by her husband of 48 years Rodney "Pa Pa" Cheramie Sr.; sons Rodney "T-Rod" Cheramie Jr. (Amanda), Tilden Gaspard Jr. (Elizabeth), and Christopher Cheramie; grandchildren Julie Cheramie (Christy), Bud Cheramie (Devon), Blake Cheramie, Felicia Hendrix (Dennis), Brent Gaspard (Marcy) Ashley Gaspard, Craig Gaspard (Heather) and Joseph Gaspard; step grandchildren Miranda Martinez and Juan Martinez; brother Robert Lee; and sister Kathleen Collins.

Mrs. Cheramie was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Henrietta T. Lee, and sister Shirley Prejean.

Mrs. Jenice was a great woman with a heart of gold that cared for everyone and loved her family, friends and animals.
