Javan J. “Pete” Dantin, 85, a native of Cheniere and a resident of Golden Meadow, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2020.
Graveside services were held on Monday, February 10, 2020 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery, Golden Meadow, LA.
He is survived by his wife, Marion Dantin; daughters, Alice Perkins (Earl) and Mona Naquin (Donald); grandson, Ethan Perkins and brother, Eno Dantin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gervistine and Alice Daigle Dantin and brother, Morris Dantin.
Javan was a loving husband, father and grandfather who loved staying home with his family. He enjoyed the simple things in life like working in his yard. He will be greatly missed. He was a great man.
