Janita "Jan" Guidry

Janita "Jan" Rousse Guidry, 79, a native and resident of Cut Off passed away on August 12, 2017. A visitation will be held on Thursday August 17, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off from 10 am until service time. Funeral Mass will begin at 12 noon with burial following in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Janita is survived by her son; Phillip "Pip" A. Guidry Jr., husband Joel C. Antipuesto, and brothers; Chester, Mike, Rodney, and Ozema Rousse.
Mrs. Guidry was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years Phillip A. Guidry Sr., parents; Web and Aza B. Rousse, brothers Ejay, Leroy and Stanley Rousse, and sisters Octavia "Tavie" Lasseigne and Lorena "Pookie" Ledet.

Mrs. Jan passed away at home according to her wishes. She died just as she lived; at home and in charge.
