Janice Semmes

Janice Bruce Semmes, 71, a native of Golden Meadow, and a resident of Larose, La. died June 28, 2017 @ 12:06 a.m.

Visitation will be Saturday July 1, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Larose, La. Burial to follow at a later date.

Janice is survived by her husband, Ignatius W. Semmes, children, Nicky James Savoie (Katrina), Jodie Guidry (Aaron), Sandra Plaisance (Cory), and Dawn Linden (James); step-children, Dana Scott, Miranda Hunter, Ryan Semmes, Kate Bolton, Kristen Starr, and Tiffany Semmes, brothers: Bobby Bruce, Douglas Bruce, and Bryan Bruce, sisters: Geraldine Esponge, Peggy Borne, Carolyn Bourgeois, and Sheena Delatte,: 17 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Janice is preceded in death by her parents, Lester J. Bruce Sr. and Meona Bergeron Bruce, brothers, Carl Bruce, Lester Bruce, Jr., Daniel Bruce, Wayne Bruce, and Larry Bruce.

Janice loved to travel, read, & build puzzles.
