Janice Penisson

Janice Hodson Penisson, 82, a native and resident of Raceland, LA died August 7, 2016 surrounded by her family.
Visitation will be Saturday August 13, 2016 from 9:00 am until funeral time at 11:00 am at St. Mary's Nativity Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00am. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Janice is survived by her husband of 56 years, Dennis Joel Penisson; daughters, Dana Penisson Adams and husband David, Judithe Penisson Ord and husband John; brothers Royal Charles Hodson, Jr. and Gregory Scott Hodson; sister Patricia Hodson Porter; and grandchildren.
Janice is preceded in death by her son, Adrian Charles Penisson; father Royal Charles Hodson; mother Juanita Crawford Hodson and sister, Margaret Hodson Casselman.
Janice was a graduate of Davis and Elkins (WV) College. She enjoyed reading, writing, caring for her family and lively conversations. She was loved by many and will be remembered for her humor, warmth and generous spirit.
