Janet "Honey" Pitre Lafont, 84, a native and resident of Cut Off passed away August 30, 2013. Visitation will take place on Wednesday September 4, 2013 from 10am till funeral time at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off with services beginning at 12 noon and burial following at Cheramie Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter Patricia Turnage, son Jimmy "T-Jim" Lafont, sister Verline Gisclair, 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband Adam "Lou Lou" J. Lafont, parents August and Alzina Pitre, daughter Tammy Lafont, brothers Bertman Pitre, Hayman Pitre and Harold Plaisance, and sisters Clara Vegas and Maybel Galjour.
