Janet Champagne Dugas

Janet Champagne Dugas, 85, a native of Galliano, La. and resident of Cut Off, La. passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2024 with her loving family near her side.

 Visitation will be on Friday, November 22, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano, La. from 9:00am until service time. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 11:00am with burial in the church cemetery. 

 Janet is survived by her daughters; Selena D. Louviere, and Sharon M. Dugas, grandchildren; Tyler (Randie Hebert) Blanchard, Jairus Blanchard and Victoria L. (Seth) Whiteley, and sister; Peggy C. Toups. 

 Janet was preceded in death by her husband; Elzaire Jules Dugas, parents; Madio Adam and Agnes Terrebonne Champagne, son-in law; Grant J. Louviere, brothers; Roy Champagne and Herbert Champagne, sister; Dorothy C. Martin.

 Janet was an avid Catholic and devoted her life to the church. She was a school teacher for 30+ years. She will missed but we know she is in a better place.
