J. Arthur Blouin

 Mr. J. Arthur Blouin, 94, a lifelong resident of Raceland, passed away in his home on Saturday, March 1, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Visitation will be held at Bayou Blue Assembly of God on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 from 9:00 am until service time at 11:00 am. A graveside service will follow at St. Hilary of Poitiers Cemetery in Raceland.

Mr. Blouin is survived by his loving wife of 9 years, Marlene Martin Blouin; sons, Roy Blouin (Marie), Ray Blouin (Mary), and Randy Blouin (Cindy); daughter, Ruth Bourgeois (Mark); and step-children, Kirk Champagne (Mel), and Julie Greene; grandchildren, Michelle Blouin Chiasson (Ben), Buddy Blouin, Blake Bourgeois, and Jacob Blouin; great-grandchildren, Bethani Chiasson, Nathan Chiasson, and Elise Chiasson.

He was preceded in death by his loving first wife of 60 years, Martha S. Blouin; and parents, Roy and Athalie Blouin.

He was a member of Bayou Blue Assembly of God Church. He owned Toups and Blouin Insurance Agency. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. Above all, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

The family would like to thank the nurses of ACG Hospice, especially Amy, for the wonderful and compassionate care of Arthur and his family.
