Iva Dell Rippy Kohls, 90, a native of McLean, TX and a resident of Galliano, died on March 3, 2018.
A funeral service will be held at a later date in McLean, TX.
She is survived by her 5 children, Steven Kohls (Karen), Deborah Kohls, Kay Shafer (Jordan), Shirley Griffin, and Kathleen Brantley (Ronnie); 9 grandchildren, Ariel, Emily, Kara, Blake, Paden, Joshua, Erin, Kayla, and Kristen; 4 great-grandchildren, Braylon, Christian, Claire, and Sawyer; and niece, Mickey Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd James Kohls; parents, Kester and Emily Rippy; and sister, Ramah Lou Lankford.
She was a RN and retired from Lady of the Sea after 12 years of service. She was a devoted Christian. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
