Irene L. Boudreaux, 97, a native of Chackbay and resident of Napoleonville passed away on Friday, January 19, 2018.
Visitation will be held at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Mathews on Monday, January 22nd from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.
She is survived by her son, Gable Boudreaux; daughter, Elaine Harless; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Morgan Boudreaux; parents, Alcide and Marie Rose Ledet; brothers, Herman Ledet, Allen "Pierre" Ledet, Clarence Rousseaux, Ivan J. "Guy" Ledet, Sylvester "Coon" Ledet and Harry Ledet; half-sister, Marie Rousseaux Matherne.
