Inez Rebstock Cheramie, 87, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Cut Off, died at 9:23 p.m. Thursday, June 20, 2013.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time Monday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her son, David J. Cheramie and wife, Marianne, of Lafayette; daughters, Carol C. Orgeron and husband, Dudley, of Luling, and Joan C. Lerille and husband, Rodney, of Cut Off; grandchildren, Roddy Lerille, Kristie L. Domangue, Tricia L. Galjour, David Orgeron, Beth O. Perque, Paul B. Cheramie, Martin N. Cheramie and Vincent P. Cheramie; and great-grandchildren, Jamie Lerille, Lyndsey Lerille Sydney Lerille, Erica Baehr, Ross Galjour, Raelyn Galjour, Kayla Orgeron, Kourtney Orgeron, Kaitlyn Orgeron, Gavin Orgeron, Brody Perque, Leo Cheramie and Cameron Domangue.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Cheramie; parents, Whitney and Blanche Dantin Rebstock; and brothers, Linton Rebstock, Morris Rebstock Sr. and Joseph Rebstock Sr.
She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church.
