Herbert "Plut" Plaisance Jr.

Herbert “Plut” Plaisance, Jr., 83, a native and resident of Cut Off passed away on Wednesday, June 16th, 2021.

A visitation will be held at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 from 9:00 am until service time. Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 am with burial following in the church cemetery.

Mr. Herbert is survived by his wife of 63 years; Doris Noel Plaisance, daughter; Vicky Plaisance Adams (Jody), grandchildren; Jaimy Adams, Tiffany Adams, and Allie Adams, and great grandchildren; Joby Adams, Slye Breaux, Brax Adams, and Layla Taylor, sisters; Beatrice P. Trosclair, Catherine P. LeBlanc (Joe), Aline P. Dufrene (Jackie).

Mr. Plaisance was preceded in death by his son; Tony Plaisance, parents; Herbert “Bert” Plaisance and Flossie Trosclair Plaisance, and brothers; Camile Plaisance, Lester Plaisance and Ivy “Boogalee” Plaisance.

Plut loved to cook for everyone he could; friends, family, Church, Sheriff’s Office, he loved to fish, and veiller under the tree every day in the golf carts.
