Henry J. "T-Nonk" Brunet, Sr.

Henry J. “T-Nonk” Brunet, Sr., 89, a native of Delta Farms and resident of Larose passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2021.

Visitation will be held at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church on Wednesday, June 9th from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his sons, Louis “Bozo” Brunet, Sr. (Juanita) and Henry “Bud” Brunet, Jr.; step-son, Frank “Lobo” Tauzin, Jr. (Glenda); daughters, Lena Brunet (Daniel “Bud Man” Naquin) and Anna “Mae Mae” Matherne (Rex); 24 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, Herbert “Lightning” Brunet; parents, Louis “Pa Pa Dut Dut” and Eugenie “Ma Ma Dut Dut” Brunet; sisters, Verdie Cheramie, Gertie Perez, Eugenie Thibodeaux and Claudia Hebert.

Henry was known as a hard worker, an honest man, and a friend you could count on. To his children all of the above and most of all his children knew his love.
