Harris A. "Frog" Adams, 73, a native and resident of Cut Off passed away on Saturday August 24, 2013.
Visitation will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the church at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Joyce S. Adams; son, Paul Adams; daughter, Roxanne Matherne and husband Dean, Sr.; brother. Horace P. Adams; sisters, Dolores A. Pitre, Theresa A. Pitre, Gladys A. Guidry, Marty Ann A. Martin; grandchildren, Dean "D.J." Matherne, Jr., Jardy Matherne; great grandchildren, Kylar Matherne, Hayden Matherne.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Felician and Veronica Adams; brothers, Morris Adams, Forest Adams; sister, Pearly A. Danos.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved spending quality time with his family. His great grandchildren knew him as "Grand Dad"
He was a boat captain for over 30 years.
