Godfrey "Pete" Chabert, Jr., 51, a native of Cut Off and resident of Asheville, N.C. passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2018.
Visitation will be held at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 14th from 1:00 p.m. until funeral time. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home at 2:00 p.m.
Pete is survived by his mother, Barbara "Bobbie" Chabert; sons, Jacob Chabert (Lila), Samuel Chabert and Ben Chabert; sister, Debra Griffin (Ray); granddaughter, Isabelle Chabert.
Pete was preceded in death by his father, Godfrey P. Chabert, Sr.; sisters, Christine Chabert, Carrie Lombas and Mindy Chabert.
