Gloria A. Vegas, 87, a native of Galliano and resident of Cut Off passed away Monday, March 30, 2015.
Visitation will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 3:00 p.m. with burial to follow in Cheramie Cemetery.
She is survived by her children, Brien Vegas (Lucille), Linton "L.J." Vegas, Jr. (Penny), Christine Vegas, Monty Vegas (Audrey); brother, Nolan Adams; sister, Dolores Chiquet; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Linton Vegas, Sr.; parents, Jules and Mercedes Adams; sisters, Sisca Duet, Olivia Pitre, Flavia Vega, Florida Parra.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
