Gloria C. Blanchard, 65, a native and resident of Raceland passed away on Friday, July 7, 2017.
Visitation will be held at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 11th from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Hilary of Poitier's Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
Gloria is survived by her husband, Irvin Blanchard, Jr.; son, Roland LeBlanc, Jr. (Kenny); daughters, Emma Ordoyne (Chet), Agnes Sapia (Big Joe), Becky Tabor (Ronnie), Mona Sapia (Randy) and Rachael Dufrene (Duck); sister, Doris Morvant; 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Roland LeBlanc, Sr.; parents, Simon and Larencia Thibodaux Champagne; son, Randy LeBlanc; brothers, Jimmy Champagne and Percy Champagne; sister, Dorothy Bourg.
Gloria loved playing cards and bingo.
