Gertrude Marie Crosby Callais, 71, a native and resident of Larose, died Monday, July 22, 2013.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Larose. A Mass of Christian burial will be at noon Thursday at the church, with burial in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Laurie John Callais; son, Timmy John Callais and wife, Margaret; daughter, Loretta C. Orgeron; brother, Joseph Crosby; sister, Rose Crosby Worley; grandchildren, Kristy Bellanger Chouest and husband, Bo, Roddy Bellanger and wife, Brooke, Olivia Callais and fiance, Julien Constantin, Emiloy Callais and Ty Orgeron; and great-grandchildren, Kaelyn Bellanger, Lane Chouest and soon to be, Baden Bellanger.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Urbin and Marie Crosby; brothers, Carlton and Vincent Crosby; and sister, Emma Lois Crosby Worley.
She was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and was a member of the Holy Name Society
