Georgiana "Gorigie" Boudreaux Shellman, 65, a native of Raceland and resident of Houma passed away on Saturday January 11, 2014.
Visitation will be held at Samart-Mothe Funeral Chapel on Monday from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday at St. Mary's Nativity Catholic Church from 8:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Brent Boudreaux and companion Kristie Hood; ex-husband Lee Shellman; sister, Florence "Flo" Boudreaux Matherne and husband Donald "Hippie" Matherne; godchildren, Tammy Mire, Dina Boudreaux Gilies.
She was preceded in death by her father, Aristile Charles Boudreaux, Sr.; mother, Alice Ann Babin Boudreaux; brothers, Aristile "Slim" Boudreaux, Jr., George Boudreaux, Euclid Boudreaux, Randy Boudreaux, Jeffery Boudreaux; companion, Johnny Jeanise.
