Gene J. Breaux, 71, a native of Bayou Gauche and resident of Lockport passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2018
Visitation will be held at Holy Savior Catholic Church on Tuesday, April 10th from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
Gene is survived by his daughter, Cassandra Breaux; grandchildren, Thor Breaux, Ariana Mathieu and Tesla Baudoin.
Gene was preceded in death by his wife, Lela Mae Breaux; parents, Alexander, Sr. and Adeline Breaux; brother, Alexander Breaux, Jr.; sisters, Theresa B. Waguespack and Bertha B. Dempster.
Gene was a loving father and grandfather and was a big LSU fan. He served his country proudly as a Vietnam Veteran. He brought joy to all those around him. He will forever live in our hearts.
