Gary “Ganu” J. Cheramie, a native and resident of Pointe Au Saucisse, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2019, age 53.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 22nd at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow, from 9 AM until service time. Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM. Burial will be held at a later date.
Ganu is survived by his brothers, Noel, Alton Sr., Ray and Larry Cheramie; sisters, Peggy Bowie, Mary Turner and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Eula Mae LaBiche Cheramie and brothers, Dudley, Ricky and Perry Cheramie Sr.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
