Gail Marie Cheramie, 70, a native and resident of Galliano passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2014.
Visitation will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. with burial to follow in Cheramie Cemetery.
She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Terry Cheramie; mother, Katie Collins Cheramie; son, Toby Cheramie and partner Brian Hammell; daughters, Kendra Cheramie, Kimberly Cheramie Gaudet and husband Philip, Jr.; sisters, Katherine Cheramie, Dolores Terrebonne; grandchildren, Kristen Lefort and husband Todd, Colby Cantrelle and wife Regina, Kasey Wright, Kevin Wright, Caymen Wright, Colleen Wright; great grandchildren, Morgan Lefort, Trey Lefort, Carson Lefort, Gabrielle Cantrelle, Maxwell Cantrelle, Abigail Cantrelle, Tyler Cantrelle.
She was preceded in death by her father, George W. Cheramie.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
