Florence G. Bonnette

Florence G. Bonnette, 93, a native of St. Charles Community and resident of Lockport passed away on Friday, December 28, 2018.
Visitation will be held at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home, in Raceland, on Friday, January 4th from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and will resume on Saturday, January 5th at St. Anthony Catholic Church, in Gheens, at 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in Holy Savior Cemetery.
Florence is survived by her daughter, Patricia “Pat” Dufrene (Joseph); son, Michael Bonnette; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Bonnette; brother, Richard Gaudet; brother-in-law, Alfred Bonnette; grandchildren, Cal Thibodaux, Matthew Bonnette (Brianne), Meghan Mahfouz (Thomas), Calei Saltzman (Brian) and Rachel Bonnette; great-grandchildren, Aiden Thibodaux, Addison Thibodaux, Owen Bonnette, Gavin Bonnette, Mason Bonnette, Henry Saltzman, Sarah Mahfouz and great-grandchild, Cate Saltzman on the way.
Florence was preceded in death by her husband, Angus Bonnette, Jr.; parents, Sylvester and Daisy Gaudet; step-mother, Edna Gaudet; brothers, Joseph Gaudet, Earl Gaudet and Johnny Gaudet; sisters, Pearl Tregre, Ruth Washum and Theresa Gaudet; grandson, Mitchell Bonnette.
