Evelyn Plaisance Adams, 95, a native of Delta Farms and resident of Larose passed away on Friday, January 12, 2018.
Visitation will be held at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church on Tuesday, January 16th from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Melville Adams (Helen), James Adams (Cheryl), Lonny Adams (Mary) and John Adams (Stella); daughters, Carol Rogers (Craig) and Donna Gilfour (Robert); 18 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Adams; parents, Alex and Marie Plaisance; daughter, Katherine Adams; brothers, Eugene Plaisance, Alex Plaisance and Tilman Plaisance; sisters, Lena Gautreaux, Lorena Bourgeois and Mamie Dobson.
