Ernest J. Savoie, Sr.

Ernest James Savoie Sr., 83, a native and resident of Larose passed away August 23, 2016. Visitation will take place on Thursday August 25 at the KC Hall in Larose from 5 pm until 9 pm and on Friday August 26 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church from 10:30 am until service time. Funeral Mass will begin at 1 pm with burial following in the church cemetery.

Mr. Ernest is survived by his wife of 62 years Deloris "Tiny" F. Savoie, sons Ernest Savoie Jr wife Catherine and Dean Savoie wife Shelly, grandchildren Brice Savoie, Kayla Savoie Lecompte, and Tiffany Savoie Rainwater, great grandchildren Lyla Rainwater, Allie Rainwater, Bryson Savoie, Khi Guidry, Landon Lecompte and Isaiah Mayorquin, brother Larry Savoie Sr. and sister Annie Savoie Cheramie.

Mr. Savoie was preceded in death by his parents Arcene and Marie H. Savoie, sons Allen Joseph Savoie and Dale Michael Savoie, brothers Clarence, Alvin, John, Claude, Edward, and Joseph, sisters Agnes Guidry, Emily Lombas, and Lousie Adams.
