Ellaive Cheramie Angelette

Ellaive Cheramie Angelette, 94, a native and resident of Cut Off passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2023.

Visitation will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off on Tuesday, August 29th from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Ellaive is survived by her sons, Emile “Bud” (Trixie) Angelette, IV, and Chris (Carolyn) Angelette; daughters, Nora (Dave) Miller, Susan Gros, and Wanda Angelette; sisters, Genevieve Boudreaux, Julia Mayet, and Lucille Vegas; 8 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 17 great-great-grandchildren.

Ellaive was preceded in death by her husband, Emile “Mello” Angelette, III; great-great-granddaughter, Nia Grace Badeaux; parents, Levy and Nora Bruce Cheramie; brother, James “Jimmy” Cheramie; sister, Lauravie Danos.
