Edward A. Adams

Edward A. Adams, 89, a native and resident of Mathews, LA, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2023.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at St. Hilary Catholic Church. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in Holy Savior Cemetery, Lockport, LA.
He is survived by his wife, Leafy Robichaux Adams; sons, Lane D. Adams (Elaine) and Troy Adams; step sons, Darren Pitre (Harriet), Jamie Pitre (Menta), Corey Pitre (Armida) and Marc Pitre (Pam); grandchildren Joshua, Nicholas and Gabriele; great granddaughter, Delilah; brother, L.J. Adams, Jr. and sister, Shirley Pierce.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Helen Allemand Adams; parents, Lilier Adams, Sr. and Alexina Adams; brothers, Nessie Adams, Norwin Adams, Ernest Adams and Richard “Dickie” Adams, sisters, Esma Orgeron, Velma Plaisance and Eula Savoie.
Edward was a member of the American Legion and enjoyed working the American Legion Bingo.
