Edith Gisclair Cheramie, 85, a native and resident of Cut Off, La. gained her wings on Monday, October 19, 2020.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Cheramie Cemetery at 3:00 pm.
Edith is survived by her children, Jody Cheramie, Cindy Heseltine and Dina Cheramie; daughter-in-law, Virgie Breaux Cheramie; sisters, Theresa McDonald and Gertie Cheramie; 9 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
Edith was preceded in death by her husband Mack Cheramie; parents, Clifford J. and Leoncia Duet Gisclair; children, Wayne Cheramie and Cathy Raines; brothers, Lester, Cleo, Claude, Norman,and Irvin Gisclair; sisters, Carrie Lou Gisclair, Audrey Mae Adams, Linda Bruce and an infant sister; 2 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
