Eddie "Pelee" Williams Sr., 76, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Cut Off, died at 8:07 p.m. Monday, Jan. 21, 2013.

He is survived by his wife, Irene R. Williams; sons, Eddie (Cassie) Williams Jr., and Cliff Williams; daughters, Stacy (Neal) Comeaux and Virginia (David) Cheramie; stepdaughters, Joan Bernard and Betty Bernard; stepsons, Julius (Carolyn) Bernard Jr., Murphy (Dena) Bernard and Jody Bernard; sisters, Laura Mae Punch and Gail Ougel; grandchildren, Kasey Barrios, Heidi Bruce, Beth Cheramie, Russell Cheramie, Kristen Taylor, Joshua Williams, Wyatt Williams and Gabe Williams; great-grandchildren, Jacob Danos, Sidney, Jaevyn and Ryder Bruce, and Brylei and Kaiden Taylor; step-grandchiildren, Emmet Boudreaux, Heidi Lee, Julius Bernard III, Allison Bernard, Taylor and Tyler Bernard, Jody, Joseph, Jessie, Kelly and Jolie Bernard; and step-great-grandchildren, Emilie, Renee, Cameron and Gavin Lee, Samantha Boudreaux, Janae and Julian Bernard, Rylie Bernard, Landon Schwertz, Autumn Foret, Katherine Plaisance, and Francesca and Antoinette Bernard.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Williams and Delphine Hebert.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off is in charge of arrangements.
