Durel J. Scioneaux, 79, a native of Garyville and resident of Thibodaux passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2017.
Visitation will be held at St. Mary's Nativity Catholic Church on Friday, September 29th from 11:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Durel is survived by his wife of 52years, Barbara B. Scioneaux; daughter, Lori Degruise (Todd);
Ron Scioneaux (Sheri); sister, Inez Hymel; grandchildren, Dustin Degruise, Tyler Degruise (Cassidy), Cade Scioneaux, Madison Degruise and Charli Scioneaux.
Durel was preceded in death by his parents, Armand, Sr. and Leona Scioneaux; brothers, Armand Scioneaux, Jr., Rodney Scioneaux and Lee Earl Scioneaux; sisters, Ann Lark and Anna Richards.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
