Doris Dempster Trahan, 76, a native and resident of Des Allemands passed away on Sunday January 12, 2014.
Visitation will be held at St. Gertrude Catholic Church on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Bradley Trahan; sons, Shawn Trahan, Shane Trahan; daughter, Sharlene Trahan; brothers, Mitchel Dempster, Simon Dempster, Landry Dempster, Nolan Dempster; sisters, Ethel Sposito, Dolores Chaisson; 3 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Felicien Dempster; mother, Clara Plaisance Dempster; brothers, John Dempster, Melien Dempster, Dennis Dempster; sisters, Velma Cortez, Thelma Tregla.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
